Every Trade successfully completed a critical project at St Vincent’s Hospital’s Cardiac ward, upgrading and fitting out Cath Lab 2 and 4. Our team meticulously planned and executed the fitout while maintaining a sterile and noise-controlled environment, ensuring a safe and efficient space for patients.
The project included demolition, mechanical upgrades, new ceilings and walls, flooring, painting, commissioning, medical gas installation, and lead shielding. Despite the challenges of working in a live hospital setting, our team implemented stringent WH&S protocols and collaborated closely with consultants and subcontractors to minimise disruption to hospital operations.
The successful completion of these Cath Labs not only showcases our expertise in delivering exceptional healthcare construction projects but also played a vital role in the recovery of Aussie rock legend Jimmy Barnes. Barnes underwent a successful open-heart surgery in one of these Cath Labs.
Our commitment to sustainability was evident in the project, with materials recycled and waste minimised whenever possible. This project solidified Every Trade’s reputation as a reliable and skilled contractor in the healthcare construction sector.
The upgraded and modernised Cath Lab 2 & 4 will provide state-of-the-art care for countless patients in the years to come.
